The next-generation mobility integrated research building in Gunma University Aramaki Campus (Maebashi City, Gunma Prefecture) is designed to have a lot of rooms to be lent to each company as sub-offi ces for divisions of business development and technical R&D of collaborative companies and as a liaison offi ce to grasp the research and development trend of the latest next-generation mobility. It also has a collaboration space with the concept that a variety of companies can interact with each other under one roof.
This is an experiment road with movable road elements (such as signals and signs) for autonomous vehicles. The experiment road itself is a simple fl at road and experiments corresponding to a variety of technology issues can be performed by moving the road elements to make a road environment that meets the experiment purpose.
